{Tuesday} Download: May 2012 Printable Calendar

...because it's still Tuesday in some parts of the world.

Many readers are requesting that I post the entire year of desktop calendars already. As much as I would love to, I have a slight problem with this: I haven't designed the rest of the year yet!!! Please understand that this is another (pa-uso) therapeutic thing for me at the end of each month... the time when I design the calendar is my time to reflect on what happened in the past month, and a time for me to say "Wow, the month went by so fast!" or "What?! It's <insert Month> already?!?!" Hahaha. Besides, it's nice to take it one month (day) at a time. Although I admire those who MUST plan months ahead, I urge you to savor each box on the calendar. Be thankful for you have lived to color and design another date. Haha okay, enough, this is just me being stupid and making up excuses. :P

Back in high school, I used to make my own monthly (or weekly, or per "session") calendars because I have what you can call Calendar ADHD. Yes, folks, this is a real condition. I go crazy on those little boxes and would rather color them than do my I.W. (a Poveda thang.) And by the time my calendar sheet is all weathered and feathered, it's just about time to make a brand new one! I didn't have Illustrator or Photoshop then, so I would just draw the lines with a ruler and a pen. I have worked on many planners in the past few years as a graphic designer, but the truth is, I can't stand writing on one thing for 12 whole months. I would love to have the 12-month Moleskine weekly planner set, but they're just too friggin' expensive. So after two long, senseless paragraphs, here we are, back again in square one: I would rather make my own monthly calendars and I share them with you. :)
