On My Reading List: September

Give me a recipe and I will vegan-ize it
 -- all thanks to reading + lots of practice hours in the little Pipino kitchen.

Since a lot of ingredients listed in these books are so hard to find here (either that or they are super expensive), I've learned to maximize our local food products and use them to make vegan alternatives. (For example, in some recipes, I use coconut cream instead of eggs.) My most successful products are actually those that I've tweaked. Someday, when I am rich and bored, I will write them all down.
